The colorful retro coloring of the 12 pieces is based on the one hand on the songwriting talent of Matthias (The Saltbees) and Sophie (Dangergolf), on the other hand on the warm analogue instrumentation of David (Admiral James T., Howlong Wolf). With this CD release, their second record, the musical spectrum of The Golden is expanded by means of clear references to 50s R'nR ', 60s Beat, Jingle-Jangle and Folk-Pop.

Loose stories, embellished anecdotes or longings for new beginnings are presented in the texts with humor, even profound ones. This to draw attention to the "dangers" of country life or decaying houses, and to dream of small "escape fantasies".
